I've been dyeing my hair for years I'm 42 years old and I'm getting grey. As far as I remember my hair was a light to medium ash brown. I have dyed it alburn and other shades of red every autum. I want to get as close to my natural hair color as possible. I tried coloring it medium ash brown and it was to dark. Now my hair is growing out and it is lighter on top and dark on the bottom i would like to even it out but I dont know what color I should use. I tried a natural dark blonde to lighten it up but it didnt take. Please do you have any suggestions! I'm becoming despreate and I really dont have money to go to a salon. What if any suggestion can you give me. Note: I have always used Loreal at home products. Should I be useing something else. Thank you Mimi Marion I have a question.
